DrawWire

Terms of Use

Last updated 22 October 2026

These terms apply to the DrawWire app and website, made by LastLap Lab LLC ("we"). If you got DrawWire from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. Where the two conflict on the licence to the app itself, Apple's agreement wins.

Your drawings

You own what you draw. You give us only the permission we need to store, back up and display it for you, and to send it to the AI provider when you use an AI feature. You're responsible for having the right to use any logos, pictures or symbols you import.

Check before you build

DrawWire helps you draw wiring diagrams. It doesn't design or certify electrical installations. Cable sizes, protection, and compliance with the standards and regulations that apply to you (for example ABYC, ISO 13297, AS/NZS 3000/3004 or local wiring rules) are the responsibility of a qualified person. Diagrams made with AI features or the sketch tool can contain mistakes; check every connection and value.

The sketch tool is in beta

The sketch tool (turning a hand-drawn sketch into a diagram) is an early version. It can misread symbols and connections. Don't rely on it for finished professional drawings without checking them.

Acceptable use

Don't use DrawWire to break the law, to attack or overload the service, or to get at other people's data. We may suspend accounts that do.

Availability

We work to keep DrawWire and its backup running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. Keep your own copies of important drawings (PDF or DXF export).

Liability

DrawWire is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from installations built from diagrams. Our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded, including New Zealand's Consumer Guarantees Act and Australian Consumer Law where they apply.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms; if a change matters, we'll say so in the app first. You can stop using DrawWire and delete your account at any time.
